Former Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas had a heated exchange with OL fans this Friday.

Nothing is going well at OL anymore. While the crisis is brewing like never before, everyone is struggling like kids. And there is no shortage of low blows. Within the club we continue to blame ourselves for the disaster and this is also the case outside. This Friday, a certain Jean-Michel Aulas took the floor to point the finger at… the supporters.

Textor and OL supporters, the breakup

The former club boss had previously attacked John Textor, his successor at the head of OL. This time, it is the team’s fans who suffer his wrath. He criticizes them for not supporting the players enough during this delicate period.

Aulas takes out the sulphator

“Your excesses on the players are unacceptable, you endanger the OL institution by insulting our assets: to get out of this there is only one solution: sacred union behind the coach, Laurent (Prud’Homme) and John (Textor), and on Sunday the opponent is Toulouse »he published on X (formerly Twitter).

This message was a response to a press release issued by a group of supporters in which the players were called to move. “Look at all of you in the mirror because you are the players who are going to sink the club with the most beautiful structures for playing football (…) You are responsible, like those who brought you to a club bigger than you”was written in particular hollowly addressed to the players.

The one who is particularly targeted is Rayan Cherki. The international hopeful is beneath everything. And as is the case with observers like Riolo or Dugarry, Lyon supporters believe that his attitude has become unacceptable. “Responsible also are those who closed and educated a player who since the age of 12 has thought that he is the future Ballon d’Or when he is not even capable of playing in a team and raising the game of his team. teammates.”
