Unheard of for OM in a quarter of a century

Olympique de Marseille is definitely showing itself to be uncompromising at the Vélodrome this season.

Three days after its victory against Stade Rennais, Olympique de Marseille did it again against Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday, winning 3-0 after a match controlled from start to finish. Enough to sign a third consecutive victory – a first this season – and maintain its invincibility at the Vélodrome.

Since the start of the season, OM have had eight wins and three draws at home. And the Ciel et Blanc are particularly effective defensively. The Marseillais have not conceded a single goal at the Vélodrome in Ligue 1 for six matches. Unheard of since the end of 1998 when the Olympians had seven clean sheets in a row at home.
