In favor of the Super League, Juventus Turin had left the European Club Association (ECA) but according to Reuters, the Italian club could make its return to the institution of the Old Continent. Questioned on this subject, Nasser al-Khelaïfi, president of the organization, was also favorable. “If they stop what they are trying to do, which in my opinion is a stupid project, they are always welcome”the Parisian boss assured journalists, after a meeting of the ECA board of directors in Copenhagen.
If no date has been revealed for a possible return, Nasser al-Khelaïfi also specified that he had spoken with the management and owners of the Old Lady. For its part, Juventus made it known that such a scenario was not current. “Juventus FC is not evaluating the possibility of joining the ECA at the moment”indicated the Piedmontese club to Reuters.
