Injured since mid-November, Warren Zaire-Emery returned to PSG collective training this Wednesday.
Good news for PSG! Victim of a sprained right ankle during his first selection with the France A team, on December 18 against Gibraltar (14-0 victory for the Blues), Warren Zaire-Emery could make his return to competition more sooner than expected.
While it was initially expected that he would not play again until early 2024, the 17-year-old midfielder appears to be ahead of schedule. In fact, the native of Montreuil is already back in training. “Warren Zaire-Emery completed most of the day’s session with the group”indicated the capital club on social networks.

Zaire-Emery back before the break?
It remains to be seen whether WZE will be able to return to the group before the winter break. As a reminder, Paris Saint-Germain hosts Nantes this Saturday, before traveling to Dortmund in the Champions League next Wednesday and facing Lille (December 17) as well as Metz (December 20) in the championship.
Furthermore, Marquinhos, injured with a hamstring during Brazil-Argentina, also returned to training. He “participated in almost the entire training with his teammates”explains the French champions.
