Tintin new Qatar coach

A few weeks before the Asian Nations Cup, scheduled for Qatar from January 12, the host country of the tournament is changing its plans.

This Wednesday, the Qatar Football Federation announced the end of its collaboration – with a “ mutual agreement » – with Carlos Queiroz, who only remained in office for ten months – for 12 matches coached.

After five victories, two draws, five defeats, the Portuguese coach, former coach of Iran, therefore bows out, replaced by the Spaniard Bartolomé “Tintin” Marquez Lopez, former strategist of Espanyol Barcelona who since 2018 has led the Qatari club Al-Wakrah.
