Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais face each other this Wednesday, in a late match classified as high risk (9 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Rhone club.

Former assistant to Habib Beye at Red Star, Pierre Sage was brought up in a good school: the interim coach of Olympique Lyonnais refuses the concept of encouraging defeat. And yet, the content offered by his men on the Lens pitch on Sunday brought hope to many observers of the club, despite the result (2-3).

“It is an encouraging production and a result which, unfortunately, does not reward this production. The march is located there. There are also things that need to change if we want the points to follow”explained Pierre Sage at a press conference. “Now it’s great to have taken a step forward. But if we take a step back every subsequent match, it’s useless. The idea is to start something and confirm it from match to match. »

For this trip to Marseille, the same consistency is hoped for in the choices of Pierre Sage, who should focus on a form of continuity. A method that contrasts with that of his predecessor Fabio Grosso. Sage should therefore rely on his two strong men, Alexandre Lacazette aligned as center forward, and Rayan Cherki at number 10 in a 4-2-3-1 formation which suits the qualities of both players.

Tagliafico, Tolisso and Lepenant are absent for this match, where other executives are expected at kick-off, such as Caqueret, Lovren and the immovable Lopes in goal.

The expected line-up for OL : Lopes – Mata, Lovren, O’Brien, Henrique – Alvero, Caqueret – Moreira, Cherki, Nuamah – Lacazette.
