Big scare for Betis in the Copa del Rey

Betis almost got eliminated by a fourth division club this Wednesday in the Copa del Rey.

Until 89e minute, Betis Sevilla believed they were going off track today in the Spanish Cup. Led then by Villanovense, the Andalusian club relied on a miraculous equalizer from Ezzalzouli, before making the difference through Iglesias in added time (1-2, 90e+3).

It also happens this evening for Sevilla FC, qualified for the 16e of the Copa del Rey final at the expense of Astorga (0-2). Same thing for Rayo Vallecano, Mallorca, Real Sociedad and Alaves, respectively defeaters of Yeclano (0-2), Valle Egues (0-3), Andratx (0-1) and Terrassa (0-1).

On the other hand, Almeria, an Iberian elite club, failed before Barbastro, who plays in Segunda RFEF (fourth division), defeated by a score of 1-0 in Aragon. And Las Palmas had to go through extra time to overcome Tudelano, also a resident of Segunda RFEF, thanks to a goal scored at the end of the suspense (1-2, 120th + 4).
