Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic has sent a clear message to Real Madrid about his star player Luka Modric.
Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic hopes Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric will feature at Euro 2024. And with that in mind, he wants him to be as competitive as possible.
Dalic counts on Modric
Modric’s future is uncertain at Real as his contract expires in June. This season, and unlike in past years, he no longer plays too much. He only started 7 times, in all competitions. And in terms of cumulative minutes on the green rectangle (714), it only has 15e playing time for the entire Merengue squad. A situation which, inevitably, concerns his national coach.
“We all know Luka. We will wait until June, see how things go and talk to him. But one thing is certain, he never gives up”Dalic said this weekend.
Croatia were drawn with Spain, Italy and Albania in their group. She is the toughest group in the event and it is certain that she will need all her strength to perform well.
