Kurt Zouma was left terrified after armed robbers broke into his family home and made off with £100,000 in cash and jewelry.
The gang ransacked the West Ham captain’s house after striking on Saturday evening while he was at home with his family, according to The Sun.
The burglary led Zouma, 29, to miss his side’s 1-1 Premier League draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday – as police officers warned neighbors of the gang’s presence.
West Ham today revealed the club are offering a £25,000 reward for information leading to the gang’s capture.
Police rushed to the player’s £3million home, located on an upmarket street where wealthy neighbors use private security, and stayed with the family for hours afterwards the raid on Saturday evening.
The thieves made off with high-end jewelry and watches. We are talking about loot amounting to 100,000 pounds sterling.
