Inter Miami and Argentina star Lionel Messi were spotted working hard in the gym during the MLS offseason on Monday morning.
The Argentina international was seen doing pull-ups in the gym on Monday morning, after a clip of him surfaced on social media platform X, formerly Twitter. The Inter Miami star is currently in off-season mode with the Herons, and his national team is done with the calendar year. The month of December is therefore a month of relaxation and recovery for the 36-year-old.

After the 2023 MLS season, which saw Messi and the Herons win the inaugural Leagues Cup, you would have thought he would be on a beach somewhere enjoying his free time. This is not the case for the Argentinian, because his offseason really doesn’t exist! He has always been seen in the gym or on the training pitch since returning from international duty with Argentina in November, and it looks like that won’t change any time soon.
The Herons will return to the field on January 19 in a friendly match against the El Salvador national team, which will mark the start of the 2024 pre-season. Until then, it is all about preparing for the campaign .
