Last week, he disgusted PSG attackers and supporters. Imperial on his line, Nick Pope had delayed the deadline for Newcastle and had finally given in. Author of several saving parades, he was awarded the best score of the match against the Parisians according to the FM editorial staff. But after this evening, both successful and frustrating, the former Burnley player has to deal with bad news this Monday.

While he was injured in the 86th minute of play during the victory against Manchester United this Saturday (1-0), the 31-year-old English goalkeeper suffered a dislocated shoulder after a shot from Sergio Reguilon. According to information from The Athletic, Pope is expected to be out for four months while he is expected to undergo surgery following this injury. A hard blow for Eddie Howe who is however spoiled for choice to replace him with Martin Dubravka, Loris Karius and Mark Gillespie.
