At the start of the year, Jesé Rodriguez joined his ninth club, Brazilian club Coritiba. But he failed to win and was released from his contract, which was to run until the end of 2023.

The last time Jesé played in Spain was in 2022, under the colors of Las Palmas, but he could soon return home. Estadio Deportivo claims Valencia and Almeria are both interested in the former Real Madrid striker.

Valencia are reportedly unwilling to spend money in the winter transfer window, but they are short on wingers. Jesé could be an ideal option for Ruben Baraja to strengthen his team for the second half of the season.

Jesé would probably play as a winger at Valencia, while he would probably be used as a ‘9’ at Almeria, if he goes there. Luis Suarez and Ibrahima Kone have been out for a long time, and the former Parisian could provide the spark the Andalusians need to climb out of the relegation zone.
