It was the long-awaited match of this 15th day of La Liga. FC Barcelona hosted Atletico de Madrid on its lawn in a shock that promised to be electric and thrilling. At the end of a close and intense match, it was Barça who had the last word by winning with a score of 1 goal to 0.

Ironically, it was Joao Felix who gave FC Barcelona victory against his former club Atletico Madrid. Note that the 24-year-old still belongs to the Colchoneros and is currently on loan from the Madrid team until the end of the season.

The Portuguese had a solid match against his former teammates. From the 28th minute of play, the Blaugrana number 14 hit the mark. Served by Raphinha on the left, the Portuguese winger goes to score with full composure.

A left-footed dive which gave Jan Oblak no chance. An achievement followed by an iconic celebration in front of his supporters.

Whirling throughout the match, Joao Felix left at the end of the match (77th) to give way to Ferran Torres. He was also elected by Liga as the man of the match.

The Portuguese sent a big message to his former club during this shock. His saving goal allows Barça to secure their third place and come back to within 4 points of the two leading teams, Real Madrid and Girona.
