The fourteenth day of the Premier League offered some great matches this Sunday and Liverpool had the opportunity to come back to within two lengths of leader Arsenal. Hosting Fulham, the Reds started the match well with the opener from Trent Alexander-Arnold (1-0, 20th), but former Scousers Harry Wilson responded immediately (1-1, 24th). With a sumptuous missile, Alexis Mac Allister restored the advantage to the Reds (2-1, 38th), but once again, Fulham came back via Kenny Tete (2-2, 45th +3). At the end of the match, Bobby Decordova-Reid thought he would snatch victory for the Cottagers (3-2, 80th), but goals from Wataru Endo (3-3, 87th) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (4-3, 89th) allowed the Reds to regain the advantage in a crazy match. A 4-3 victory which allows Liverpool to be second, two points behind leader Arsenal. Fourth, Aston Villa wanted to win against Bournemouth to climb onto the podium. Against the Cherries, Unai Emery’s players fell behind twice on goals from Antoine Semenyo (10th) and Dominic Solanke (52nd), but Leon Bailey (20th) and Ollie Watkins (90th) made it possible to come back and to grab a draw (2-2).

Mid-table match, the meeting between Chelsea and Brighton completely kept its promises. Yet well launched with early goals from Enzo Fernandez (1-0, 17th) and Levi Colwill (2-0, 21st), the Blues seemed to have done the hardest part, but in quick succession, Facundo Buonanotte will reduce the gap (2-1, 43rd) and Conor Gallagher will be sent off from Chelsea (45th). However, the Londoners will continue to push and on a counter, Mykhaylo Mudryk obtained a penalty converted by Enzo Fernandez (3-1, 65th). While victory seemed in the pocket, Joao Pedro revived the Seagulls (3-2, 90th +2). Still winning 3-2, Chelsea climbed to tenth place and returned to six points behind the European places. Finally, West Ham (9th) and Crystal Palace (13th) went blow for blow and parted with a score of 1-1.
