Spanish greats who missed their start to the season, Villarreal (13th) and Sevilla (15th) crossed swords this Sunday at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for the 15th day of La Liga. A meeting which was generally quite locked for more than an hour and which was unlocked at the end of the meeting. After good work from Adria Pedrosa, it was Kike Salas who opened the scoring for the Andalusians (75th).

In the process, Villarreal was able to equalize thanks to its veteran José Luis Morales (77th). Villarreal even thought they had the victory at the very end of the match but Ben Brereton Diaz’s goal was refused for offside (90th +5). As a result, the two teams parted ways in a 1-1 draw which did not suit anyone. Villarreal climbs to twelfth but is not yet in the right position.
