Brest confirms its return

Stade Brestois made short work of Clermont this Sunday for the 14th day of L1.

Thanks to a double from Del Castillo (20e on penalty, 51e) and a nice cover from Pereira Lage (34e), the SB29 won 3-0, achieving a second success in the championship after a series of three losses.

Back in business, Brest is in seventh position – with a match to make up against Strasbourg and a potential place in the Top 5. On the other hand, Clermont remains 17e and penultimate, two lengths ahead of Lorient, who took a point from Toulouse (1-1).

Surprised by Dallinga in the second half (72e), the Merlus came back to the mark in added time thanks to Dieng (90e+1), snatching a precious unit to stay just one point behind the TFC, 14e in the ranking.
