Injured in the shoulder during Le Havre-PSG on Sunday noon, Fabian Ruiz felt unwell on the sidelines before being evacuated on a stretcher. The Spanish midfielder was taken to hospital for examinations.

Already weighed down by the unavailability of Warren Zaire-Emery in midfield, PSG should not be able to count on Fabian Ruiz either for the final clash against Dortmund in the Champions League, in nine days. The Spanish midfielder was replaced in the 8th minute of the Rouge et Bleu’s match in Le Havre (0-2 victory), Sunday noon, for the 14th day of Ligue 1.

Injured in the shoulder during a duel, the former Napoli player then felt unwell on the side of the field before being evacuated on a stretcher, as indicated by RMC Sport. Ruiz was taken to the hospital for tests.

If no fracture was detected, the 27-year-old must undergo further tests to find out the exact nature of his injury. A shoulder dislocation could cause him to miss several weeks of competition.

Luis Enrique will work with Manuel Ugarte, Vitinha, Lee Kang-In and Carlos Soler to compose his midfield for the next meetings (reception of FC Nantes next Friday).
