Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed that Victor Osimhen is set to extend his stay at the club, despite interest from Premier League giants and PSG.
De Laurentiis remained confident that Victor Osimhen will sign a new lease and extend his stay at Napoli, despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, not forgetting PSG.
The striker still has a year and a half on his contract with the Partenopei, but the reigning Italian champions want to continue their association with the player beyond 2025.
Osimhen, who has scored six times for his club in 12 appearances this season, saw his relationship with Napoli deteriorate after the club uploaded a video to his TikTok page which mocked him.
Speaking to journalists during an awards ceremony, the Napoli boss was firm on this issue: “For Osimhen, we are at the signing stage, which has been on hold since the summer.”
The Nigerian was the subject of interest from the Saudi Pro League over the summer, but that move did not materialize as the player turned it down and decided to stay.
