This Saturday we will know the groups for Euro 2024, which will take place next year in Germany. The French team will be seeded.

Where and when to watch the Euro 2024 draw?

The draw for Euro 2024 will be made this Saturday, December 2. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. French time. The draw will be broadcast in France on the L’Equipe channel. The live stream is also available on UEFA.com and on the official UEFA EURO 2024 app.

Hats for the draw:

Pot 1: Germany (host), Portugal, France, Spain, Belgium, England
Pot 2: Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Denmark, Albania, Austria
Pot 3: Netherlands, Scotland, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic
Pot 4: Italy, Serbia, Switzerland, Dam 1, Dam 2, Dam 3

What draw for the Blues?

The French team is seeded for this draw thanks to its very good run during the qualifiers. The hats were established based on these results, and not taking into account the UEFA index. This is what places some big names in European football in pots 3 and 4.
The worst draw for the Blues: France, Denmark, Croatia (or Netherlands), Italy (or Switzerland)
The best draw for the Blues: France, Albania, Slovenia and Group C play-off winner.

Who will be the roadblockers?

The play-offs concern the selections which do not qualify directly for the Euro, and which are drafted thanks to the results obtained during the previous Nations League. Here are the posters for the semi-finals: Wales – Finland and Poland – Estonia for group A, Bosnia and Herzegovina – Ukraine and Israel – Iceland for group B, Georgia – Luxembourg and Greece – Kazakhstan for group C.

How does the final phase take place?

The format will be the same as for Euro 2020. The first two from each of the six groups of the final phase will advance to the round of 16 with the four best third-placed teams. The tournament then enters knockout football with round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final.
