Surprising third in the Bundesliga, VfB Stuttgart defeated Werder Bremen (13th) who for their part wanted to take off with the red zone. Well into their match with chances from Silas (6th) and Anton (17th), the Swabians justified their great start to the season with the opener from Undav (1-0, 17th). In the process, it was Guirassy who found the fault, but his goal was refused for offside (21st). Continuing to create big chances (34th, 40th and 45th +1), Stuttgart had a brilliant first act.
