But Toulouse won a draw against Union Saint-Gilloise (0-0) which could bring the TFC closer to another great European poster next February.
A victory would have assured the Violets of continuing the adventure in the Europa League, but Carles Martinez’s team never managed to win this meeting. There was a first thrill with a blocked shot from Aron Donnum (8th), but the best opportunity was in favor of the Belgians, for the Algerian Mohamed Amoura (19th).
Toulouse almost in a barrage
In the second half, TFC did not hit the goal once (4 shots in total), and did not really push to get the three points, as if this 0-0 was enough for their happiness.
