Victim of a fracture in his left foot on October 28 (an incomplete stress fracture at the level of the second metatarsal to be precise), Aurélien Tchouaméni missed the last five matches of Real Madrid (as well as the matches of the French team of the November window) but will soon return to competition.

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder returned to action on Thursday at Ciudad Madrid and will reunite with Carlo Ancelotti’s entire group in a few weeks. At this rate, the player trained at Girondins de Bordeaux will be fully recovered for the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia and the semi-final against Atlético de Madrid on January 10.

The Merengues have been particularly affected by injuries in recent days. Kepa Arrizabalaga, Eduardo Camavinga, Luka Modric and Vinicius were unavailable during the victory against Napoli in the Champions League (4-2), in addition to long-term absentees Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao.
