A stronghold of French football announced this Wednesday the arrival of a new coach in its organization chart.
Stuck in the soft underbelly of the Ligue 1 ranking, FC Nantes is changing its organization chart. Waldemar Kita made the sudden decision to part ways with Pierre Aristouy. After a failed start to the season, the young technician, who saved the club from relegation last season, managed to turn things around before a new negative streak in recent weeks.
Aristouy is replaced on the FC Nantes bench by Jocelyn Gourvennec. The FCN confirmed this Wednesday the arrival of the former coach of Lille or Bordeaux. Formerly of the yellow house, Gourvennec has signed a contract which binds him to Nantes until the end of the financial year.
