U17 World Cup: France overthrows Mali and reaches the final

The French U17 team qualified for the World Cup final thanks to its 2-1 victory over Mali.

After their victories without shining against Senegal (0-0, 5-3 on the tabs), then Uzbekistan (1-0), the Bleuets got the better of Mali (2-1) this Tuesday, validating the same their ticket to the final of the U17 World Cup.

Trailing 0-1 just before the break, Jean-Luc Vannucchi’s men turned things around in the second half, with numerical superiority, thanks to goals from Yvann Titi (56th) and Ismail Bouneb (69th).

The Bleuets will meet Germany in the final, at 1 p.m., to try to get the second title in the category, after 2001 with the Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama-Pongolle generation.
