Two months after the huge slap received in England, PSG hopes to take revenge against Newcastle.

PSG is playing big this Tuesday evening. A new defeat against the Magpies, two months after sinking at Saint-James’Park, would condemn the capital club to a miracle, in two weeks, to secure their ticket to the round of 16.

Authoritarian winner of Borussia Dortmund (2-0) and AC Milan (3-0) during their first two matches played at the Park, Luis Enrique’s men will have to deal with several notable absences since Warren Zaire-Emery and Marquinhos have joined Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes in the infirmary.

In their absence, Lucas Hernandez should be aligned as a central hinge alongside Milan Skriniar while Nordi Mukiele, a professional right back, should operate in the left lane. In the midfield, the absence of WZE should benefit Fabian Ruiz, particularly to his advantage against Monaco. The only change expected compared to the eleven lined up against the Principality club on Friday should be observed in attack since Randal Kolo Muani is expected to start, rather than Gonçalo Ramos.

The probable line-up of PSG against Newcastle:

Donnarumma – Mukiele, Hernandez, Skriniar, Hakimi – Vitinha, Ugarte, Ruiz – Mbappé, Kolo Muani, Dembélé.

Luis Enrique is not the only one to face numerous absences since among the Magpies, nine players are in the infirmary and Sandra Tonali is suspended.

Newcastle’s probable line-up against PSG

Pope – Livramento, Schar, Lascelles, Trippier – Joelinton, Guimaraes, Miley – Gordon, Isak, Almiron.
