The PSG group concocted by Luis Enrique to face Newcastle on Tuesday evening in the Champions League has fallen. With a little surprise in store.
Things are becoming clearer for Paris Saint-Germain. Opposing Tuesday evening (9 p.m.) against Newcastle, as part of the fifth day of the Champions League group stage, the capital club made public the names of the players selected by Luis Enrique. If we will have to wait a little longer to know the official PSG eleven, several pieces of information have already come out, with the absence of a Ethan Mbappé, however, announced in the group the day before.
Monday evening, The Team had actually indicated that Kylian Mbappé’s little brother was going to be retained by Luis Enrique. This is ultimately not the case for the French midfielder who will therefore remain available to the youth team who will play the Youth League match against the Newcastle U19s a little earlier in the day (2 p.m.).
Massacre in Newcastle
It is therefore a group of nineteen players that Luis Enrique has prepared, notably with the presence of Marco Asensio. For the rest, no surprises to report. A priori starting to replace Warren Zaire-Emery, Fabian Ruiz is there. Ditto for Bradley Barcola, Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Achraf Hakimi and Milan Skriniar. To recite nobody else but them.

On the Newcastle side, the list of absentees is, however, much longer. To the absence of Sandro Tonali (suspended for his involvement in sports betting), there are added those of Sean Longstaff (ankle) and Joe Willock (Achilles heel), without forgetting those of Jacob Murphy (shoulder), Dan Burn (back), Harvey Barnes (foot), Matt Targett (hamstring), Sven Botman (knee), Callum Wilson (hamstring) and Elliot Anderson (back).
