PSG has its back against the wall before facing Newcastle this Tuesday evening on the lawn of the Parc des Princes.
Rarely have PSG had to worry so much about their qualification for the round of 16. The capital club has certainly already had to work until the last day to validate its ticket for the final phase but with already two defeats conceded during its trips to Newcastle and Milan, the French champions no longer have the right to make mistakes when it comes time to meet the Magpies at the Parc des Princes.
And the Parisians may be all the more worried as they completely foundered during their trip to Saint-James’Park, losing 4-1 after being unable to compete in the opening match. Luis Enrique’s men, who will have to compose without Marquinhos and Warren Zaire Emery in addition to Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes, therefore know what to expect and will count on the support of the public at the Park to ignite the debates.
Note that if a setback would condemn PSG to a miracle on the last day, a victory could already be synonymous with qualification for the Parisians as long as Milan does not win against Borussia Dortmund
The kick-off for this clash between PSG and Newcastle will be given at 9 p.m. at the Parc des Princes and the match will be broadcast both on Canal+ Foot and on RMC Sports 1.
