If Manchester United have already lost five times this season in the Premier League, in 13 days, the Mancunian club is not that far from the big names that are Arsenal, City and Liverpool, respectively 1st, 2nd and 3rd. But Erik ten Hag’s men are still far from being reassuring in the game and with the numerous injuries within the squad, it is inevitable to see some reinforcements arrive in 2024. For this winter, the name of Timo Werner was recently blown away. But what about the summer slopes?

Well the Red Devils would have set their sights on António Silva. To believe Sky Sports, the 20-year-old central defender is the top priority of the English club which is already preparing the ground at the contractual level. Currently under the tunic of Benfica, the Portuguese has a release clause worth 100 million euros in 2024. His club knows it, it will be difficult to retain him next summer. An attractive avenue for the Mancuniens who alternate this season between Varane, Lindelöf, Maguire and Evans in central defense.
