Former Paris Saint-Germain player (1992-1995), David Ginola, expressed a wish regarding the clash against Newcastle.
Former PSG star David Ginola demands to see the Parc des Princes go up in flames to push the Parisian players to seek success against Newcastle on Tuesday evening.
The goal is of course qualification for the round of 16 of the Champions League against the Magpies. “The twelfth man is not just a ready-made phrase in the world of football: I experienced it here at the Parc des Princes with this audience”remembers the former Parisian star in comments relayed by RMC.
“He will have to be present at key moments of the match. We have had it in the past in European Cup matches, championship matches. Football must be played with an audience, people who are there with you, who vibrate with you and experience the match with you”continues David Ginola.
As a reminder, second in its group in the Champions League, behind Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain knows itself to be threatened since its defeat against AC Milan at Giuseppe Meazza on the previous day.
A new defeat or even a draw against Newcastle this Tuesday, and an Ile-de-France qualification for the round of 16 of the competition would be in danger.
