Paris Saint-Germain would like to treat themselves to an Algerian international this winter.

While the winter transfer window is fast approaching, PSG is already advancing its pawns. In search of a left back to compensate for the long convalescence of Nuno Mendes, the capital club would have targeted a player in particular.

According to information from Sports Zone, the director of football of the French champions, Luis Campos, has made the arrival of Rayan Aït-Nouri his top priority for the next transfer window.

Jorge Mendes throws a cold

Yes, but now, Jorge Mendes, the agent of the Algerian left-back, would like guarantees on his colt’s playing time and would have, for the moment, cooled the ardor of the Parisian leaders. The former Angevin is linked to Wolverhampton until June 2026, while his market value is estimated at 25 million euros by the specialized site Transfermarkt. For its part, Le Parisien announced this Monday that the residents of the Parc des Princes would not be interested in the arrival of the 22-year-old Algerian international.

Victim of a rupture of the joint tendon of the right hamstring at the start of pre-season preparation, Nuno Mendes underwent surgery at the end of last September. His return to the field is hoped, at best, at the beginning of February 2024.
