AS Saint-Etienne suffered a third consecutive defeat in Ligue 2 on Saturday evening at home. Doubt once again surrounds the Greens.

The Greens are plunging back into obscurity. After a solid series of 10 Ligue 2 matches without defeat, including seven victories, AS Saint-Etienne has just experienced a third defeat in a row.

The goal which froze the Cauldron of Geoffroy-Guichard is a small masterpiece, a powerful half-volley, achieved by Sessi D’Almeida (78th), barely three minutes after Pau’s equalizer, signed Henri Saiver from the penalty spot (1-1, 75th).
