Francesco Farioli’s OGC Nice remains in contact with Ligue 1 leader PSG. The Aiglons did not manage to dominate Toulouse in the game but won 1-0 on Sunday afternoon.
PSG is not going it alone at the top of Ligue 1, OGC Nice still manages to keep up, counting one point less than the leader. Francesco Farioli’s team, the last undefeated team in the championship, continued its good season in its own way, recording its fifth 1-0 success against Toulouse FC on Sunday afternoon at the Allianz Riviera.
Despite their excellent results, the Niçois were unable to take the game into their own hands against the Violets, which will not calm the detractors of this solid runner-up to PSG. The visitors were also denied a goal scored from the start by Frank Magri for an unclear fault (2nd). Before the hour mark, Morgan Sanson intelligently found Terem Moffi in front of goal for the opener (58th).
Marcin Bulka held on until the end, repelling a last opponent’s attempt at the end of the match, to record his 8th clean sheet in a row! Toulouse, who have only won twice this season in L1, are 15th in the standings, just ahead of the play-off.
