Placarded in Paris, Hugo Ekitiké is likely to relaunch during the next transfer window within a major Premier League club.
Hugo Ekitiké has been excluded from the PSG group since the start of the season. The former Reims player is going through a very delicate situation on a personal level, but it might not last too long. His patience could even be rewarded with a very interesting transfer.
A long-time courtier relaunches Ekitiké
According to the English daily The Times, Ekitiké would have contact with Newcastle United. The Magpies are looking to get new elements in attack and they are thinking of him as reinforcement. And there is no need to see any attempt to destabilize the Ile-de-France club before the upcoming confrontation of the two teams in the Champions League.
Ekitiké had already been close to joining Eddie Howe’s training last summer before finally continuing with Paris. He thought he would regain his place on the team, but the dice were loaded. The management and staff have chosen to rule it out irreversibly.
In addition to Ekitiké, Newcastle are looking to get their hands on another quality player lacking playing time in their squad. Namely Kevin Phillips, the member of Manchester City.
