OM coach, Gennaro Gattuso, chose to modify his eleven for the opposition against Strasbourg.

On behalf of the 13e day of Ligue 1, OM challenges Strasbourg on home soil this Saturday. For this meeting, the Marseille team lined up will not be the same as the one that played against Lens before the break. Gennaro Gattuso has chosen to make some changes to his starting team.

Gattuso revives Aubamyang

Due to the suspension of Samuel Gigot, he notably put the Mbemba – Balerdi hinge back in line. In defense, this duo will be surrounded by the two permanent full-backs, Renan Lodi and Jonathan Clauss.

Note that in attack, the Italian coach chose to relaunch Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese started this time even though he was a substitute at the kick-off at Bollaert. He will occupy the right flank. His counterpart on the left will be Joaquin Correa. The Argentinian retains the confidence of his coach despite his erratic performances. As for the point, it is occupied by Vitinha.

The Marseille attack will have heavy pressure on its shoulders. The offensive players went three matches without scoring a single shot. A series that must be stopped at all costs to be able to move up the rankings. Currently, OM are only 10th, 11 points from third place.

Aubameyang will have a new opportunity to shine with OM.

Still no Ounahi in OM’s eleven

As central leader, the Moroccan Amine Harit is once again renewed. His mission will be to bring a touch of creativity and launch his attackers in the best conditions.

The Kondogbia – Veretout pair is logically installed in the middle, while Valentin Rongier continues to heal. Furthermore, Azedinne Ounahi remains once again on the bench.

OM’s starting lineup against Strasbourg
