Paris Saint-Germain welcomes AS Monaco this Friday, opening the 13th day of Ligue 1 (9 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the capital club.

To hope to end the year in style, Paris Saint-Germain is tackling high passes. This Friday, it is Monaco which presents itself on the road to the Parisians, four days before an extremely important match against Newcastle in the Champions League.

A sequence that Luis Enrique approaches with a real puzzle to solve. The international truce has left its mark in the Parisian ranks. Captain Marquinhos and gem Warren Zaire-Emery have joined the infirmary and will be out of these two shocks.

The meeting against ASM is therefore akin to a first exam for Luis Enrique, who will have to find the best formula to avoid the trap of a high-quality opponent, while preparing Newcastle. To replace Marquinhos, two options are possible: placing Danilo alongside Milan Skriniar, with what that implies in terms of profile, the two men having shown a speed deficit when they lined up together this season; or move Lucas Hernandez to central defense to leave the left side to Nordi Mukiele.

In the midfield, it is Fabian Ruiz who could be preferred to his competitors to start. The Spanish midfielder has been gaining momentum in recent weeks. Vitinha would still be in balance with Le Kang-in, who continues to score points. The other usual executives are expected, from Donnarumma to Mbappé, via Hakimi, Skriniar, Ugarte or Dembélé.

PSG : Donnarumma – Hakimi, Skriniar, L.Hernandez or Danilo, Mukiele or L.Hernandez – F.Ruiz, Ugarte, Vitinha or Lee – Dembélé, Kolo Muani, Mbappé.
