Staggering out of his vehicle, the Italian attacker refused to submit to an alcohol test.

Mario Balotelli suffered quite a scare on Thursday. The former Marseillais was in fact the victim of a violent car accident while driving in the streets of Brescia, in the north of Italy. The Italian attacker appears to have lost control of his vehicle, a powerful Audi Q8, which crashed into a wall separating two lanes of traffic.

According to images from a video published on social networks, the two airbags were triggered by the violence of the impact and the front of the vehicle was completely destroyed. The video shows him stunned and even staggering on the road, forced to lie down on the road before sitting in an ambulance to regain his senses, surrounded by rescuers who came to help him.

And according to several Italian media, the former Manchester City player, who now plays for Adana Demirspor, would have refused to submit to an alcohol test, the police de facto considering that he was therefore under the influence of the alcohol. It was his brother Enock Barwuah who came to take him back home to Brescia.

Returning to Adana Demirspor last summer after a very eventful season at FC Sion, where he increased his escapades, the 33-year-old striker only played 5 league matches for 3 goals.
