Idol of an entire people, Lionel Messi is not immune to so many misdeeds in the country.
This Wednesday in Rosario, a group of criminals attacked a convoy transporting the funds of a business belonging to the family of Antonella Roccuzzo, the wife of La Pulga. Shots were fired and the equivalent of 20,000 euros (8 million pesos) stolen.
Although there were no victims in this armed operation, the occupants of the attacked vehicle were deeply shocked, report the Argentine authorities, who already last March had to investigate damage noted on the front of a store of the Roccuzzo family, all accompanied by threats made against Messi.

The city of Rosario, where the captain of the Argentine world champions was born in June 1987, is considered the most dangerous in the country, with an incomparable crime rate and a homicide rate of 22 per 100,000 inhabitants, or four times the Argentinian average. A port city and nerve center for drug trafficking in South America, Rosario is the third city in the country with more than 1.2 million inhabitants.
