The London club Chelsea has communicated the amount for which it would be willing to part ways with Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea have set a new price for their Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku has been in fine form at AS Roma this season and scored four goals for Belgium in the Euro qualifying victory over Azerbaijan last weekend. So, obviously, given this performance, the management of the Blues is starting to consider a major transfer from the next offseason.

Chelsea gets greedy for Lukaku

The London Evening Standard claims Chelsea are ready to sell the centre-forward for €40 million. It’s far from what the club paid to have him in 2022 (70 million euros) but it will still replenish the coffers.

Roma may need to qualify for Europe to complete a permanent transfer. The Gialorossi may also have to sell Tammy Abraham to raise the necessary funds.

Note that with Roma, Lukaku has scored nine goals in 14 matches this season.
