Ilyes Housni will have to observe a long rest phase. The 18-year-old striker, on loan from PSG to Al-Sadd, suffers from “partial tear of the cruciate ligament”, reveals the press release from the Qatari club. The player must still undergo an MRI this Wednesday to refine the diagnosis.
Housni had joined the Moroccan U23 selection during this November break to challenge Denmark and the United States, but he was not on the match sheets. No duration of absence was specified in the press release but it could be counted in months. A great hope for PSG, he has only made two appearances (55 minutes of playing time) since the start of his loan this summer.
