Still, the departure of Bruno Genesio should lead to another. According to information from L’Equipe, Florian Maurice should also leave his position. The 49-year-old manager arrived in Rennes in June 2020. He carried out his mission with some success, contributing to the club’s various flattering rankings in recent years, but his differences with Genesio and his responsibility in the current situation would have been right of his presence at the club.
The French daily also specifies that Maurice would not have appreciated not having been consulted by shareholder François Pinault for the choice of Julien Stéphan. Rennes is doing its little revolution well…
