The future ex-coach of Stade Rennais, Bruno Genesio, wanted Samir Nasri as assistant, tells L’Equipe on Sunday.

Samir Nasri (right in the photo) could have started a new career in Brittany. According to The Team this Sunday, the former French attacking midfielder was wanted by Bruno Genesio.

The now future ex-coach of Stade Rennais wanted the 36-year-old native of Marseille as assistant coach.

Samir Nasri, officially retired from the field since September 2021, appears regularly on Canal+ as a consultant.
