Julian Nagelsmann made a very unexpected choice regarding Kai Havertz for the friendly match against Turkey.

Germany faces Turkey this Saturday evening in Berlin, as part of a friendly match. Julian Nagelsmann, the coach of the Nationalmannschaft, has concocted a major surprise in the composition of his starting eleven. Thus, as relayed by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the former Bayern Munich coach asked Kai Havertz, the Arsenal attacking midfielder, to play… left back. This will not be a traditional defender role, since it is an offensive system where the players on the side will be in high demand in the opposing half, but the experience is not trivial. The German eleven: Trapp – Henrichs, Tah, Rüdiger – Kimmich Gundogan, Havertz–Sane, Wirtz, Brandt–Fullkrug.
