Real Madrid’s English midfielder, Jude Bellingham, was presented with the 2023 Golden Boy trophy this Friday.

Awarded annually by the Italian daily Tuttosport, The Golden Boy, an individual trophy which rewards the best young player under the age of 21 playing in Europe, was awarded this year to Jude Bellingham. A fair reward for the one who shone under the colors of Borussia Dortmund, before completely exploding with Real Madrid.

Elected with 97% of the votes – the vote is submitted to 50 European journalists – the 20-year-old midfielder collected 485 points out of 500 possible. A real plebiscite for the one who finished third in 2022 and second in 2021.

Jude Bellingham succeeds Gavi, Pedri (2021), Erling Haaland (2020) and Kylian Mbappé (2017).
