Palmeiras player Endrick has revealed he ‘hates’ partying and explained how he plans to stay out of trouble before leaving for Real Madrid.
The young striker is set to join Real in July 2024 and he gave an interview in September to explain how he plans to avoid negative headlines in the Spanish capital. Sure, Brazilian icon Neymar and other stars like Ronaldinho and Ronaldo have succumbed to Spain’s party lifestyle, but Endrick insists he is different.
At 17, the striker is in remarkable form with the Brazilian club and has already scored 15 goals. He was capped by Brazil at under-17 level and has already been called up to the senior squad, although he didn’t exactly get a warm welcome, with Arsenal defender Gabriel punching him in the ‘training.
Endrick told TNT Sports BR: “I hate going to parties…I don’t like being involved in controversies, I don’t like doing anything that could tarnish my image.”
In comparison, Neymar reportedly partied with influencers before Brazil’s final World Cup qualifier.
The teenager could win his first cap with Brazil in the upcoming qualifying matches for the next World Cup. The Brazilians will play Colombia on Friday, before facing Argentina on Wednesday.
