A month after its defeat against Uruguay, Brazil suffered another setback during its trip to Colombia (2-1).

The Seleçao is at a standstill. If they had started their qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Cup perfectly by picking up two victories in their first two matches, the Brazilians have had a string of poor performances ever since.

Already forced into a draw by Venezuela then beaten by Uruguay, Brazil lost last night in Colombia (2-1). The match started ideally for Diniz’s men, deprived of Neymar, as Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring after just four minutes of play, but the Cafeteros reversed the situation at the end of the match, Luis Diaz scoring twice in just four minutes. (75e79e).

Thanks to this victory, Colombia moved back to third place in the standings with 9 points, while Brazil conversely fell to fifth place with 7 points. And now, a shock against Argentina is looming.
