Already qualified for Euro 2024, the Spanish selection recorded a new victory in Cyprus (1-3) and is getting closer to the status of top seed in the draw like the France team.

Guaranteed to play Euro 2024 in Germany, the France team will know its three opponents during the draw scheduled for next Saturday, December 2 in Hamburg. The Blues have a good chance of being among the top seeds in the draw (barring two defeats against Gibraltar on Saturday and in Greece). They will therefore avoid the German host country as well as Portugal. England, Belgium and Spain are also expected in this first hat.

La Furia, already qualified last October, obtained another victory in Cyprus (1-3). Lamine Yamal (5th) scored his second goal for the selection, still at 16, Mikel Oyarzabal (22nd) and Joselu (28th), who completed the Spanish attacking trio, also scored. But Luis de la Fuente’s team conceded a goal in the second half, through Pileas (75th).

The Spaniards are two points ahead of Scotland before ending their qualifying campaign with the reception of Georgia (4th in the group). A simple draw result would give them first place and the top seed in the draw. The Scots, who snatched a draw against Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s Georgia (2-2), will host Erling Haaland’s Norway.

In Group G, it was Hungary who qualified on Thursday, thanks to a draw in Bulgaria (2-2), thanks to an opposing csc in the 97th minute! The Magyars left to be placed in hat 2 of the draw, just like Austria, already qualified (with Belgium in its group) and which dominated Estonia (2-0).
