Paul Pogba “only thinks” about returning to competition and “trains all the time” during his suspension at Juventus, says the Frenchman’s agent.

The 2018 World Cup-winning midfielder is currently serving a suspension after failing a doping test. Pogba first displayed high testosterone levels following a Serie A match against Udinese on August 20. The B sample provided during this check also tested positive for DHEA, the hormone which stimulates testosterone.

Pogba’s suspension in Turin has been extended indefinitely and there is a possibility his contract could be terminated if he is found guilty of doping offenses at a sporting trial. The 30-year-old continues to fight and hopes to return to the spotlight in the near future.

Pogba’s representative, Rafaela Pimenta, told Relevo of its client’s projects: “We see the future one day at a time. We’re doing everything we can to try to explain what’s going on with Paul. But this explanation must be done before a judge. I think that in order to allow a judge to have his independence and to arrive at his conclusions as he should, we cannot influence him by public comments. We have our arguments, very serious and very important, and I must propose to the judge to approve these arguments without trying to influence him. We do everything we need to do. Those who know Paul know what happened. They know that Paul is an honest and correct person and that he always acts with integrity. He lives it with confidence and professionalism. He trains all the time and only thinks about getting through these difficult times to come back. »

Asked whether Pogba would be allowed to resume his career once his case has been reviewed, Pimenta added: “ We are working in this direction. I have confidence in the system. I tend to trust until proven otherwise. I only have signs that the system is working. I hope you understand our position.” The French international is linked to Juventus by a contract until 2026.
