ASSE: Thunderclap in sight?

Talked about for several years, the sale of AS Saint-Etienne could finally materialize.

Saint-Etienne is doing better. After a nightmarish first season in Ligue 2, ASSE regained its splendor and began to dream of returning to Ligue 1. Currently 5e in the standings, the Greens are counting on the winter transfer window to strengthen themselves.

And to believe The Team, the transfer window could be even more agitated in Forez as Roland Romeyer and Bernard Caïazzo would be ready to sell the club. This was already the case in spring 2022 before the descent from Saint-Etienne but this time, the two owners of ASSE are less greedy.

The two men could be satisfied with a sum of 25 million euros, the new owner nevertheless having to inject between 30 and 40 million euros to cover the operating deficit and strengthen the team.
