Belgium beat Serbia this Wednesday evening in a friendly match (1-0).

A month ago, the Euro 2024 qualifying match between Belgium and Sweden was interrupted by an attack in the streets of Brussels. A terrorist attack which left two victims among supporters of the Swedish selection.

This Wednesday evening, the Red Devils were back on the field, facing Serbia in a friendly setting. A meeting which was initially to be played on the pitch of the King Baudoin stadium, in Brussels, but which due to bad weather was held in Louvain, behind closed doors.

It is in this particular context that football regained its rights, with a narrow victory for the Belgians, quickly acquired thanks to Carrasco, from the 2e minute of play (1-0). Next meeting for Belgium in four days, this time for the Euro qualifiers, against Azerbaijan. A priori in Brussels.
