The refereeing of the 2022 World Cup final between France and Argentina, won by the Albiceleste, continues to be talked about. Indeed, several decisions by Polish referee Szymon Marciniak were strongly criticized by French supporters.

Impossible to substantiate but I was at the stadium both times and frankly… The France-Croatia refereeing is both incredible and monstrous.
